**COURTESY LISITNG WHISKERS TAILS & FERALS IS NOT THE CONTACT * This is Baby Olive as we have so lovingly come to call her! She is an 8-9 month old Bull Terrier mix . Olive was rescued from a sad living situation about two -three months ago. She was not socialized nor was she let out of a room/ had no shots and was malnourished. Since being saved and put in a caring home she has blossomed. She is now up to date on all shots, spayed and happy as ever! She is potty trained and socializes well with animals. We have discovered she has some sight issues. Olive is possibly near-sighted with little sight in her right eye. What does this mean? Well, what it does NOT mean is it effects her health, ability to play, run or swim thats for sure! What it can mean is her sight, mixed with little socializing and abuse from her previous owners, can lead to her being initially frightened of people in certain situations, particularly men. After a few minutes she generally warms up or we move on to allow her space to calm down and try again. She is a barker but not aggressive. We are working on training her not to bark when in fear and she has already come along way but has work to do still. Olive would make a great dog for anyone active that is able to train her. She would thrive with other active dogs, she is not dominant but does assert herself when playing. She is a puppy still and is chewing, nipping etc so babies probably are not a good idea yet but I would not rule anything out for Olive as she progresses. We have received a lot of attention around Olive but we are waiting for the right forever home where we know she will be walked, trained and allowed to be the amazing dog she is!
